Anti Mullerian Hormone (AMH)

Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) in males is crucial for embryonic development, produced by Sertoli cells in the testes to cause the regression of the female Müllerian ducts (which would form the uterus/fallopian tubes) and allow male reproductive structures to develop, with levels peaking in infancy, declining through childhood, and remaining low but present in adulthood as a marker for Sertoli cell function and fertility potential.
