This is not about religion, caste, or community—it is about our shared identity as Indians. We are Indians first, and this simple chant is a symbol of love and respect for our motherland. When you hold back, it feels as if you are distancing yourself from that very identity. Even among the well-educated, I see this reluctance. Why should a call that unites us as one nation be treated with suspicion? Why should pride in our motherland be silenced? My heart aches because this is not just a chant—it is a mindset, a reminder that we belong to one soil, one people, one destiny. I beg you to reflect: if not for our country, then for whom will you raise your voice?”
